Christian Service at SMM invites all to join in reaching out to those in need. According to Bishop Kevin Farrell's message to all in regarding Catholic Giving, “Across the globe, war, natural disasters, political strife, extreme poverty, and human trafficking combine to affect families in ways often unimaginable. Families are separated by migration for long periods of time, sometimes indefinitely. A decrease in the availability of visas makes prompt reunification unrealistic. Unaccompanied minors are exploited. The difficult and expensive legal system keeps families apart."
Let us do our part. If not for the larger scope of our world's problems, then for here near at home, where we can give with both our hearts and smiles.
