        Bereavement Ministry

        Picture
The Bereavement Ministry members assist families in making funeral arrangements at the parish in preparation for the Funeral Vigil, Mass of Resurrection and Committal at the Cemetery.

Members of this ministry assist in other ways such as Lectors, Eucharistic ministers, Sacristan’s, Greeter’s, Usher’s, Vigil and Committal Presider’s and Grief Counselors when needed or requested. Not all of the ministers do all these things but, assist in those areas that they are gifted and comfortable with.

This Ministry is always looking for new members that are called to share their gifts of comforting and presence to families during this difficult time. Training is provided for anyone wishing to discern this wonderful ministry of service to our brothers and sisters.
